Over the last twenty years of ministry, I have seen so many circumstances that could only have been orchestrated by God . I have written about some of them here . This is another one….

A week ago I was given a $50 Total Wireless phone card by a friend for whom the wrong card had been purchased by a family member and it could not be used with her phone. It’s not the kind of donation I generally receive. I stuck it in a zipper bag in my purse in which I keep each week’s Titus 2 receipts, deposit slips, and similar items. Today one of our ladies who is beginning a job search told me that she needed minutes on her phone. I asked, “What phone service does your phone require?” Her answer, “Total Wireless.” I have to say I had NEVER known of any of our ladies needing Total Wireless. Nearly all of them have been users of Straight Talk or a national provider like Verizon or ATT. I was not even surprised, though. I just walked out to my car, got the card and gave it to her to load on her phone. Tomorrow she heads out to a Job Fair and will have the cell phone available for job application follow ups.
A small thing for many of us, but for someone with no resources to speak of, a free $50 phone card at just the right moment says a lot about God’s personal knowledge of our needs and his timely provision for meeting them. Praise God for his loving care. CBB. 1/30/20
