Racialism, Humanism, or Identity In Christ

Awwwww…..sweet children. What are we doing to our kids? Many of us believed that we actively worked at NOT perpetuating historically negative cultural stereotypes, unjust conduct, demeaning language, etc. The periodic racialist-incited violence that plagues our society and world appears to many of us to be political maneuvering to keep neighbor stirred up against neighbor. I share life and joyful fellowship with a number of friends from diverse cultural, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. We all get along with and support one another well, even more so now, given the specter of disasters like hurricanes and pandemics, than ever before.

I’m DONE with giving any time, attention, or notice to divisive rabble-rousing, politically motivated hatin’-on-folks racialist rhetoric. If you’ve got a beef, deal with the individual who dealt the blow to your ego, find your true identity in the Lord, hold your head up high and keep on keepin’ on! Every person bears the image of God and has dignity and worth. Walk like you own it. Jesus died for us and in doing so freed us all from ANY prejudice by anyone!

BTW-“Racialism is the belief that the human species is naturally divided into races, which are ostensibly distinct biological categories.” “Racialism” is opposed to true “humanism” that holds all people in equal high esteem regardless of family of origin inherited physical characteristics. It is a philosophy held by those who self-identify themselves primarily based on a worldly pattern of valuing external incidental physical characteristics that have no permanent, eternal significance and that have no bearing on the worth of an individual or group. It is vile, manipulative, and lacks any virtue whatsoever, therefore can have no place in God’s kingdom among people who value individuals because they possess the image of the Divine and are endowed with unique gifts of spirit and soul that are eternal. While God created our physical bodies, they are NOT God’s top priority. Spirit and soul are. Observe: 1 Thessalonians 5:23. When we get the order right in our thinking and demand it be respected and observed on earth, for all humans, this mess will stop!
