Two weeks ago Titus 2 was given part of the contents of a home and 2 sheds recently when the family of a mom who had died 5 years ago decided to sell the property that is in a rural area. There were quite a few vintage items among the donated treasures. Many would be sold by Titus 2 because of limited need for them among our clients. One item was a bag of realistic looking 1970’s era clusters of rubber grapes, some red, some green. I took photos and posted them to marketplace. Surprisingly, a woman here in Alabama happened to be scouring the internet for artificial grapes for a women’s conference at her church in a few weeks. Since I was planning a trip near her home, we arranged to meet for the handoff…. I got this feedback from her this weekend:
“Working on our tablescape. Your grapes are seriously the best.
Your grapes are my favorite, by the way. They are huge. Don’t make them like that anymore!”
Awareness of God’s hand at work will be revealed by the presence of beauty, bounty, and blessings.
