Modifying William Bridges Diagram of Transitions to relate it to the process our women experience has given them a visual way to think about where they are……. at the beginning of the end of their chaotic life of the past or at the end of the beginning of their new recovered life in Christ! Or still stuck in the “no man’s land” in between, waiting for the vision of their personal life recovery to materialize. Interestingly, we heard through a family member of one woman, one of the family member’s prayer partner friends who knows little about our program, that the friend had received a word from God in prayer about the family member’s student in Titus 2. She had received it several weeks ago, but God had not given her freedom to speak it until this week. The word given about our student was, “It is the beginning of the end.” (of the student’s addictive lifestyle, was how the friend interpreted God’s word..) Only God would have known that this would be part of our planned lessons for this week! When I told the family member about this chart, she asked me to send it to her to share with the prayer partner friend! God blesses us when we are attentive to his voice in prayer!
