“I Am A Disciple”

Worth restating:

Declaration
“I am a Disciple”

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am accepted in the Beloved and His royal blood flows through my veins. I am a part of the Family of God. The Holy Spirit dwells in me.

The decision has been made. There will be no looking back, no letting up, no slowing down, no backing away, and no giving in. I will not compromise my beliefs, lower my standards, or cower in the face of adversity. My past is forgiven. My present has purpose and my best and brightest days are still ahead of me. I walk by faith and not by sight. I will not think like the world, walk like the world, talk like the world or act like the world. I belong to Jesus and I set my sights on things above. I am through with mediocre mindsets, limited visions, small dreams, worldly talking, cheap giving, earthly values, childish games and meaningless goals.

I confess that I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. All things are possible. For if God is for me, who can be against me? My faith is rooted and established in love and nothing I have done or ever will do can ever diminish the height, the depth, the length and the breadth of God’s love for me. I am convinced that neither death, nor life, angels or demons, the present, the future or any powers will be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And when He returns, He will have no problem recognizing me. I will raise my banner high. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.
