….at this lakeside home was renewed again this evening with the setting of the sun. It was a spectacular sunset, with a beautiful view right out the middle window of our sunroom, across the lake. We had spent all day working in the yard and pulling aquatic trash out of the lake that has over grown with grasses and weeds since the lake hasn’t been drawn down for two years. After the refreshment of late afternoon showers and a Chinese takeout dinner, we were both achy and moaning about the amount of work that is required to keep up the yard. Then the sunset caught our eyes and we remembered the enchantment we had felt the first time we visited here and saw that sight. So, I took two aspirin for the aches and reminded myself that I can hire yard work done if I can’t do it all myself!
