A prayer partner, close confidential friend and I have a particular interest in scientific evidence of God’s work in creation, including some aspects of biblical numerology or what the Hebrews call “sacred geometry.”. She had sent me a brief video that detailed an interesting piece of genetic research about a repeating “fractal,” or numeric sequence in the disulfide bridges that hold our double-stranded DNA together in its helical shape. We talked about this genetic molecular phenomenon and how its implications for Divine Creation (or Intelligent Design) are similar to those suggested by the microscopic structure of laminin, a cell membrane protein that is necessary for the integrity of organic cellular structure. After I watched the brief DNA “bridges” video, I began researching any source information. Having studied biological sciences, including two semesters of organic chemistry, 2 semesters of biochemistry, and 1 semester of genetics as part of my bachelor’s degree, I have had a 50 year fascination with biological advances. God also gave me a particular fascination and aptitude for spotting patterns and formulas in natural science, as well as in human behavioral processes.

Here’s how she had summarized the short video’s points:
“10-5-6-5” (A Significant Repeating Fractal In Nature)
“An artist leaves a signature on his/her paintings as the creator.
The Creator has done the same thing with His creation – mankind.
DNA Molecules appear as a spiral staircase.In steps up the ladder are Sulfuric Acid molecules that make bridges that keep the DNA strands connected in their helical staircase form.
Every 10 strands – there’s a bridge.
Every 5 strands – there’s a bridge.

10-5-6-5 in Biblical numerology applied to the letters of the Hebrew alphabet would spell out “YHVH” (the abbreviated way of Hebrew designation for the sacred unspoken name of God that is interpreted in English as God’s response when Moses asked Him, “Who shall I say sent me?” God replied “I am that I am.”
God left his monogram, a representation of His “signature” in the pattern of the repeating numeric geometry of the very structure of our physical being on every helical strand of DNA in our body, just like an artist!”
If the strands of DNA contain a spiritual interpretation that points to God the Creator, and the vital connecting cellular protein of the molecule laminin is formed in the shape of Christ’s symbol of victory, the cross, then is there also a physical representation in the human body that correlates to the imprint of the Holy Spirit on humankind?
From the first breath at birth until our last exhale, it is the “breath” that defines physical life. In physiological terms it is actually the oxygenation of all of our body’s tissues that begins with an inhale, followed by lung capillary transfer of oxygen from the inhaled air to the red blood cells that are pumped by the heart to all the body’s cells where the oxygen is deposited and the waste carbon dioxide is carried back by the circulatory system to the lungs where it is exhaled. Our respiration and the supportive circulatory system carrie’s the breath of life to every part of the body……. In the same manner the Holy Spirit, our spiritual breath, moves like a “wind” between all the members of the Body of Christ (i.e., the “church” who are the collective group of all believers in Jesus.)
God has created the physical realm as a “mirror” of the spiritual realm. More to the point, He has created in living physical bodies His own “perfect” image (with the evidence of elements of the Creating Father, Incarnating Son, and Sustaining Holy Spirit.)
While it has been marred by the brokenness of “sin” that resulted from temptation’s power that appealed in a destructive way to the freewill given by God to humanity, God built into the whole process the capacity and plan for healing, redemption, and restoration of His perfect will. And He is doing so both spiritually and physically! All creation groans in anticipation of that moment!
Be assured, it is in process. It is progressing just as God intends. He is sovereign. All will be renewed on the earth as in heaven and understanding will be revealed. Each generation is being given a bit more capacity to discover and understand God’s creative will and purpose. It’s just a matter of time…. not ours, but God’s, which is not measured by seconds, minutes, hours, days, or years but is measured by the fulfillment of His purpose and plan. It will arrive in His perfect “kairos” time, just as everything else has been and is accomplished in the “fullness of time..” which is whenever God is ready!
Jesus Christ’s incarnation and life was part of that kairos timing. The rising awareness of the Holy Spirit’s outpouring on people in places around the globe is, also, and means it could be as close as the next breath for each of us.
