Titus 2 Ministry Report-July 2026

– Gift of $ 25 to Lorraine’s Bake Shop, 22 Dexter Ave., Montgomety, to support “Pay It Forward” fund for mission neighbors in downtown area  to be given coffee or food item, when needed, particularly during inclement weather.

– Gift of $50 for family support of young woman in prison to allow regular phone calls to family

– Assisted with July 4th party for Mary Ellen’s Place (MEP) residents…in addition to holiday paper goods, provided 2 homebaked cakes, ice cream, watermelon slices, potato casserole, lemonade, tea, ice. 

– Delivered a box of donated gift items from Christ Methodist Church-Montgomery members for MEP families to be used by staff for BINGO night or special occasion celebrations. 

– Began client life recovery counseling sessions at Medical Outreach Mission 12 -15 hrs/week. (7/6)

-Assistance with partial cost of parts for auto repair of working single mom through  local church. (7/6)

– Agency visit to Family Guidance Center in Montgomery to gather information regarding resources and programs. (7/1)

– Established revised case management hours at MEP 12 hours/ week Mon-Wed. And other others by scheduled appointments, as needed. 

– Assisted single mother in MEP residence with oil change and tire rotation for weekly court-ordered round-trip visitation trips for children with their father. Set up appt. for her with private assistance for additional safety maintenance/repairs. Titus 2 paid for parts through a volunteer mechanic from Christ Methodist Church-Montgomery. (7/13)

– Purchased new tire for SUV donated to MEP mom with 4 children (7/7) Mom is in college and currently looking for work. 

– Case management home visit for disabled female to assess physical environment and determine needed resources to be recruited. (7/7)

– Met with used auto sales company to discuss partnership to secure 2-3 low cost or free autos per year for Titus 2 clients in life recovery counseling. (7/8)

– Delivered donated linens and assorted pet accessories for small dogs  to Montgomery Humane Society Shelter. (7/6) 

– $75 donated for staff of Keaton House recovery program in Panama City, FL to purchase men’s personal hygiene needs for court-ordered clients in long term care who lack family assistance. (7/1) 

– Assistance with month’s phone bill for young mom expecting in a few weeks while awaiting start of maternity leave benefits. (7/7)

– Shopping trip for cleaning equipment and supplies for woman with mental and physical disabilities moving back into her own apartment. (7/7) 

– 4 community service hours provided for young woman for county probation. (7/7)

– 5 hours of paid labor to load and unload donations provided for mentally disabled gentleman  awaiting judicial hearing on SSDI benefits. Gifted a donated vintage oscillating fan and bags of food items to him, also. ( 7/6 & 7) 

– Arranged bus ticket for out of town medical treatment for unhomed indigent woman. (7/14) 

– Assisted a couple selling an Airbnb property with arranging donation of queen bed, bedding, and futon to God’s Closet ministry in Bay County, other items to a women’s non-profit thrift store, and load of items to Titus 2. (7/17) 

– Gifted 5 lovely new handmade infant receiving blankets to a church’s new parents ministry in FL. (7/17)

– Gifted new handmade pastel gingham butterfly quilt and children’s book to church quilt ministry in Montgomery  preparing delivery of 5 children’s quilts to a ministry in economically depressed area in another state as part of missions team. (7/25) 

– Gifted 3 donated twin quilted bedcover sets to MEP for resident beds, kitchen utility tool crock, 2 measuring cups, toiletries, plastic flatware, 2 K&Q sheet sets, handmade newborn accessory gift set. (7/15)

– Gifted curtain panels to grandmother raising grandchildren (7/15)

– Gifted donated punch set,  metal flatware organizer, 2 skillets, lidded cooking pot to individuals in Art of Giving online community. (7/16)

– Community care clients’ assistance-  2 bus passes, 1 phone card, ironing board, specialty hair products, laundry assistance, food assistance (7/16)

– Provided 5 hours of community service to woman working to reinstate drivers license through court. (7/20)

– Transported longterm life recovery client out of town to pick up car donated to her through Titus 2 from a longtime ministry friend. (7/21)

– Purchased battery replacement for vehicle of mom in shelter and paid a mission friend gentleman to change them out.   (7/22)

– Multiple sessions on grief work and life recovery for Mom who lost young son to congenital disease in recent years.  

– Gave sermon message at Mathison Retirement Center’s Sunday afternoon worship service in Panama City  (7/19)

– Delivered assorted clothes closet donations to MEP (7/22)

– Delivered 8 sets of queen sheet and pillowcase sets, 4 additional queen flats, 10 additional sets of pillowcases, 24 towels, and 6 sets consisting of a hand-towel with 4 bath cloths to MEP. Also, 6 kitchen towels and a set of plastic plates, bowls, and glasses for the clients’ kitchen. Also, a bag of women’s clothing and shoes. (7/25)

– Assistance with apartment deposit for a mother with 2 teens moving from another city with DHS voucher assistance and a  job starting immediately.  (7/25)

– Gifted dining table, small accent table, 2 comforters, 2 blankets, other linens, dishes, skillets, pots, mugs, mug tree, kitchen utensils, serving trays, and more to family moving into housing. (7/26)

– Weekly food assistance and transportation to church for a woman being mentored. (Multiple dates during month)

– Gathered and delivered several weeks of mail and a basket of personal items to a woman previously housed at MEP. (7/24) 

– Phone & minutes card provided to senior female living in car, assisted with phone set up, purchased supper for her, and  arranged for donated styrofoam cooler & ice packs  for medication.(7/30)

– Provided Igloo cooler with ice packs for mental health client needing to store medication and food part time in vehicle. (7/29)

– Provided gas for car to female known to Titus 2 ministry living in local shelter housing who had started work at fast food restaurant but not yet been paid (7/29)

– Medical transport for mother and young child to Birmingham for specialty referral appointment (07/30)  

– Delivered large broom, large box of 33 gal plastic bags and work gloves to man living in home heavily damaged by previous storms to improve cleanliness of living space and arranged for pickup and disposal of filled bags when he is done. (7/31)

– 2 donated dog beds, decorative stoneware bowls for pet food & water gifted to Montgy. Humane Shelter (7/31)

– 2 large used bookcases and paper shredder gifted to partner church office in Montgy. (7/31)

– Delivered donation of 6 new bed pillows and 2 bags of packaged takeout plastic flatware to MEP women & children shelter (7/31)

– Gifted donated sheets, throw pillows, box of assorted types of adhesive tape, skillets, women’s robe, to individuals through Art of Giving  community neighbors site (7/30)

– Church benevolence case management for 3 churches- 14 cases 

– Counseling at Med Outreach Mission clinic (M.O.M.). 15 clients, 26.5hrs

– Private OP counseling- 17 individuals, 30.5 hrs

– Case management at MEP- 7 individuals,  23 hrs.
