Went to see War Room movie with friends. Great movie! I saw all of the things prayed for by Jesus in John 17 prayed for in this movie. Hmmmm. Wonder if it was intended by the writers or just Jesus’ signature on the project? What Jesus prayed for in John 17:
Unity with God and one another
Joy
Protection from evil
Sanctifying righteousness or holiness
embracing and witnessing to the Truth
and that we would know God’s love for us and be able to love others as He loves us…….
No way one can miss praying “aright” when praying for those things! Loved the movie. Thank you Kendrick brothers, for making Christian movies and thanks to those who support Christian movies and showing that they can succeed in the marketplace!
Jesus also prayed for all of those who would believe because of the witness of believers….I saw that in the movie, too…extending faith forward from generation to generation in prayer!
I gave a class at a conference a few years ago on “Teaching as Jesus Taught.” If we just learned THIS lesson….praying for those whom we are nurturing in faith, that would go a long way toward making a huge difference for the Kingdom in the world.
