To Give The Source Of Your Hope

1Peter 3:15

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,”

“There is an important difference between the common definition of the word hope as a wishful desire for better things and the Bible’s definition: confident expectation of a positive future. The reason for the Bible’s intensified version comes from hope’s basis on the character of God and the promises of God. With that foundation, hope is so much stronger than mere wishful desires.” -John Crotts, author of “ Hope: Living Confidently in God”

Romans 15:13 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him , so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
