His Disciples Heard, Believed, and Obeyed

God has been writing on the tablets of hearts for millennia, but the watchmen have been asleep on the wall, the runners have been distracted.

God has been writing on the tablets of hearts for millennia, but the watchmen have been asleep on the wall, the runners have been distracted.

Habakkuk 2:1-14

Deuteronomy 5:25-29

Just as God spoke and the people heard in the time of Moses, but they did not listen and obey.

Just as God spoke to Habakkuk and other prophets who heard and hoped, but the people did not listen and obey.

So rather than speak through priests and prophets, God came to men not as one obscured by smoke, fire, or wind or through the word of men, but as a Son who spoke with the wisdom and authority of the Father. His disciples heard, believed, and obeyed. Though the Enemy sought to steal his glory, His disciples, who became the sent out ones, carried the kingdom to all the world. They are apostles of his kingdom who still hear and obey and see his glory in all the earth. And the Enemy, defeated, restrained in chains, will finally be overcome by the witness of their testimony among the people.

39 You examine the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is those very Scriptures that testify about Me; 40 and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. 41 I do not receive glory from people; 42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44 How can you believe, when you accept glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have put your hope. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
John 5:39-47 –

And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.
Acts 4:33

Impotent churches. Impotent people. Impotent words. Impotent love.

But God of power and might…..
and everlasting love.
