Kingdomtide is a liturgical season observed in the autumn by some Anglican and Protestant denominations of Christianity. The season of Kingdomtide was initially promoted in America in the late 1930, particularly when in 1937 the US Federsl Council of Churches recommended that the the entirety of the summer calendar between Pentecost and Advent be named Kingdomtide. Most denominations that have adopted the Kingdom Season have restricted it to the later autumnal part of what is referred to as Ordinary Time. (Excerpted from Wikipedia.org)
I live in the Kingdom of God day in and day out, all the time. I do not struggle with or about the things of “Caesar.” I leave those to the Lord, other than being a responsible citizen, following civil law to the best of my understanding and ability, and voting according to my conscience and research. I give “Caesar”what is required and I trust God for my provision. I understand the call to be “in the world but not of it.” God has never failed me. I share with others in the Kingdom and with those who are naive about the true nature of the Kingdom and have not yet found their way here to Kingdom living……striving and worry are not the way of Jesus.
Living in peace and confidence in God’s provision and leading ….. that is living transcendently and walking by faith.
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights, Habakkuk 3:19. “To tread on the heights is a picture of our ability, in the power of God, to rise above the troubles and the hindrances of this world and experience victory over our enemies. The way before us is often full of suffering and sorrow, but, if we trust the Lord, we will come safely to where he wants us to be. God is sovereign and omnipotent, and He has all things under control.” ( Quote from a devotional shared by a friend of mine today, Dottie Wilson,)
