CBB 3/10/23:
This is Minnie and Simon nuzzling and grooming one another in the bed with me this morning at 5 am. This peaceful coexistence has taken three months to accomplish after he came back to live with us again. Norma Wallis found him as a kitten and couldn’t keep him at the time so he came to live with Bill and me and our menagerie 7 years ago in 2015. After Bill died in 2020 I had to re-home all but Minnie and Winston, so Simon went to live with Norma for 2 more years since her old cat Cassie had died. After Norma died in November (and Winston was no longer alive as a companion to Minnie and me), I brought Simon back to live with us. Minnie has been very resistant, as has Simon… But it seems to not only now be truce time, but they may be companions again! Yeah! I can move him out of my bathroom and bedroom and into the downstairs with her. Thank you, Lord! Time, prayer, and patience do take care of some things….
