June 2025 Report of Titus 2 Ministry Activities:
– Consulted on domestic abuse case involving residents adjacent to a family that is adversely affecting an older couple with disabilities. Identified and provided appropriate resources and provided encouragement and prayer and ongoing support to work through current situation.
– Biweekly classes of 4 sessions at multiple recovery programs in Bay Co.
– Consulted with family members dealing with an adult child’s addictive behaviors
– T2P is assisting with cost of vision exam and glasses for a woman in longterm shelter working through health issues and stabilization plan in progress.
– Provided packages of new women’s underwear to clothes closet at a day center.
– Individual in-person and/ or telephone counseling appointments with 23 individuals (18 in FL, 5 in AL, ongoing and new clients- total of 44 direct client contact hours) and completed self-evaluation assessment with 2 new clients.
– One consult on housing needs and referral to local resources
-attended Celebrate Recovery in Montgomery to meet leadership. 3 hours
– Consulted with principals of a ministry looking to expand their impact and reach for biannual weekend transformational retreat- 2 hours
– Attended One Church Mission Wednesday night Bible study to get to know other ministry volunteers and clients in marginalized circumstances.
-Conferred with PanCare case manager on case seeking transportation assistance for healthcare/ employment need.
– Arranged for transportation need with a local GMC church volunteer for the client. – 1 hour
– Started a Tuesday afternoon Bible study for the summer in my home with participants from multiple churches and a neighbor.
– Crisis counseling by phone and referral to local GMC church resources for parent and child in Leon Co. FL.
– Meals on wheels route 2 days in June for 13 contacts on permanent assigned route in Montgomery.- 3 hours
– Prepared “back up” presentation to CAPT monthly meeting at request of Director in PC when it appeared speaker was going to be a no-show. (He did come!)
– Attended Celebrate Recovery in PC to check in with contacts and friends there. 3 hours
– Coordinated case management for local partner church in PC to arrange FL replacement drivers license expense for a disabled veteran to secure employment.
