Titus 2 Report April 2025

-Bi-weekly teaching in Bay County recovery ministries on Thurs-Friday continue on track, as well as providing additional support as opportunities arise.

-Attended a ministry’s fundraiser, celebrated graduation from a program for one woman.

– Provided 10 gift cards as a reward to a group of women in recovery for their excellent work in witnessing to the impact relationship with Christ is having on their lives.

/Mentor meetings with several individuals 1 on 1.

-A three session curriculum on spiritual conflict resolution was completed with 3 groups.

-Connections to recovery community in Montgomery are advancing.  April 28, I began volunteering at Montgomery’s R.O.S.S. (Recovery Organization of Support Specialists.)  It’s a 7-day-a -week community center open 9a-7p for individuals in  recovery offering social activities, access to community resources, computer access, daily group meetings for various support groups and purposes (veterans, basic life skills, overcoming trauma , AA, etc). Daily food snack packs and a clothes closet are available. Afterschool snacks are also available for neighborhood kids heading home from school…… and more.  I sat in on one morning group, then led an afternoon group, and got oriented to the facility. I’ll be serving there at least a  couple of days a week.

-A phone was provided for an unhomed lady waiting for a recovery program bed.

-Contacts with several other ministries have been initiated.

-Time was volunteered with a community Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 that was great fun and well attended!

-Multiple phone calls weekly were completed with individuals in various types of crisis.

-Individual sessions were completed with 5 women for assessment and support.

Your support and prayers are always appreciated!
