God: “I will be the husband of my people.”

From Ezekiel 36

“9For behold, I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown. 10 I will multiply the people upon you—the house of Israel in its entirety. The cities will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. 11 I will fill you with people and animals, and they will multiply and be fruitful. I will make you as inhabited as you once were, and I will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
12Yes, I will cause My people Israel to walk upon you; they will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will no longer deprive them of their children.
13For this is what the Lord GOD says: Because people say to you, ‘You devour men and deprive your nation of its children,’ 14therefore you will no longer devour men or deprive your nation of its children, declares the Lord GOD. 15I will no longer allow the taunts of the nations to be heard against you, and you will no longer endure the reproach of the peoples or cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord GOD.”

God has dominion over all created life. He gives angels dominion over humans. He gives humans dominion over animals. And He causes humans and animals to multiply….though he has not provided angels with that ability for procreation.

This is the work that is known as “animal husbandry” in agricultural society…. the breeding and care of animals.

As a widow I have pondered God’s word that He would be the “husband of His people”. In this sense…. making fields flourish and flocks of all species multiply, God is carrying out the work of husbandry for all living creatures, mankind included. God decides when and how all things bring forth life. Man has profaned God’s name through abortion and denied His own nation of its and His own children….. and all nations of His own children. The US has promoted and funded abortion all over the world. We have profaned the name of God, the husband who oversees all living creatures.

He is the Creater and Master, the One who owns “all the cattle on a thousand hills”…. in other words… all flocks and herds of all species, all living things.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd, God’s Son, the One who bears His name, and is, in all respects exactly like Him, who came to gather, care for, and guide God’s “flock”.

His Holy Spirit within us marks and defines the “sheep” from the goats. And will be the means by which they are divided when they are gathered within the walls of the family’s insula, among the home pens and houses…..
