This observed over and over again:
“Many relapses by women are caused by trying to attract a man, keep a man, or get over losing a man…… “ The curse on women is that desire that keeps them longing for and running after a man rather than God. SMH.
It took me a lot of years to break free of the expectation that someone else should or even could make me feel happy or valued. It was only then that I experienced the deeper joy of spiritual and emotional intimacy that comes with having one’s relationship with another in its proper place and with the communion of the Holy Spirit present in it, too. I knew that was how it was SUPPOSED to be , even verbalized the priority of Christ in my life, but only when I broke free of the dependency on the opinion and affirmation of others, including my husband, and aligned my desires with God’s desires did I truly become myself. And it was the same for him. Christ made all the difference. We both sought to navigate turbulent waters until Christ stepped into our boat. Then, as the Apostle John tells us, when Christ stepped into the boat, we were at safe harbor where we needed to be.
There were still storms that raged from time to time but we had gained the Anchor that holds, always.

Therefore, the order is God as the head, the man is just below God, the woman is just below the man who’s just below God and children below the wife.
Soooo, we better know this man we think we want especially if you understand you’ve chosen a life partner to PUT ABOVE YOURSELF….I don’t know about anyone else but that’s the kicker for me…I hold myself in to high regard to latch on to just any man if he’s to be willingly placed below God but above me….you bet your sweet bippy he will possess certain qualities that are non negotiable!”-Kim Erck
